Taiji Qigong Shibashi Set 8 精华版 (JīngHuáBǎn)
The Quintessential Form

The final set created by Professor Lin Housheng is not just advanced—it is the refined and distilled essence of the entire Taiji Qigong Shibashi system. Known as the JīngHuáBǎn (精华版) or “Quintessential Form,” This set synthesizes 36 movements selected from the previous seven sets and combines them into 18 dynamic Yin–Yang pairs.

Like a maglev train driven by alternating magnetic polarity, the sequence of Yin–Yang movement pairs creates an energetic pull that drives Qi flow with remarkable efficiency.

Each pair is carefully designed to oscillate polarity, balancing expansion and contraction, heaviness and lightness, inward stillness and outward expression. The result is a powerful internal momentum that flows like a continuous wave, driven by precise coordination and rapid directional change.

When I first learned this set, I was stunned: 15 minutes of practice felt like half an hour of standing meditation (Zhan Zhuang)—but with more Qi, more structure, and less strain.

📚 What You’ll Learn

This course offers in-depth instruction on:

  • The 36 core movements selected by Professor Lin from the full 108-movement archive
  • The function of each Yin–Yang pair as a polarity circuit, generating rhythmic alternation
  • The multiple interwoven layers that circulate Qi, blood, and body fluids through movement
  • The integration of your cultivation state into dynamic, fast-paced situations in daily life
  • Refinement of structural alignment, elastic fascial engagement, breath coordination, and subtle Qi awareness

🖥️ Live Online Format

All training weekends are conducted live on Zoom, with real-time instruction and direct feedback from the teacher. This is not a pre-recorded program — you will be observed, corrected, and guided throughout each session to ensure precision in both movement and internal mechanics. All classes are recorded so you can review the material or catch up if you miss a session.

🗓️ Class Schedule

This program will run over ten months, with classes held on the first weekend of each month, beginning Saturday, September 6, 2025 and concluding Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Each training weekend includes two 4-hour sessions — Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Pacific Time (11:00 AM–3:00 PM Eastern Time / 4:00–8:00 PM UK Time / 17:00–21:00 Central European Time) — for a total of 8 hours of live instruction each month.

This immersive weekend format, proven in our Set 1–3 trainings, provides enough time to cover both new material and deep refinement, while leaving ample space between weekends for personal practice and integration.

Fabrice Piche
Fabrice Piche
Lineage Disciple of Professor Lin Housheng - Master Qigong Instructor - Practitioner of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and Medical Qigong. Fabrice Piché is one of the only two Western disciples officially trained and appointed by Professor Lin Housheng, the creator of the Taiji Qigong Shibashi system practiced by millions worldwide. With over 25 years of experience in Qigong, Medical Qigong, and Chinese Medicine, Fabrice bridges classical wisdom and modern healing with rare depth and integrity. His journey began in 1997 in Montreal under François Caron, where he graduated from the National Institute of Chinese Medicine in Qigong and Chinese Massage Therapy. He went on to earn his Master of Medical Qigong degree from the International Institute of Medical Qigong in California and later completed professional training in acupuncture to deepen his understanding of clinical energy work. In 2011, Fabrice was invited to train privately with Professor Lin in Los Angeles. Recognizing Fabrice’s dedication, Professor Lin formally appointed him (alongside François Caron) as an official representative for Canada and France, with a clear mission: to preserve the authenticity of the Taiji Qigong Shibashi system in the West and correct the distortions that had crept into its dissemination. In 2013, Professor Lin publicly recognized Fabrice and François as indoor disciples during the 12th Shanghai International Symposium on Qigong Science, where they performed the JingHuaBan (Set 8) form alongside their teacher—marking a rare moment of public lineage confirmation. Today, Fabrice is the founder of Qigong18.online, where he offers high-level online training and teacher certification programs in authentic Taiji Qigong Shibashi. He is known for his precise biomechanical explanations, energetic clarity, and commitment to internal development over performance. Mission & Vision Fabrice’s work is grounded in a single purpose: To make authentic Qigong transmission accessible to serious practitioners, acupuncturists, and seekers of internal cultivation—while preserving the lineage integrity and clinical power of this living art.
